For the Haiti games this year, the Orange Bowl can seat 75,000 fans. Haiti can qualify for the quarterfinals if we put 40,000 to 50,000 HAITIAN FANS SUPPORTING LOUDLY AND ENTHUSIASTICALLY OUR TEAM, AND WE CAN DO IT. The hosts, Trinidad & Tobago won a quadrangular friendly event (Digicel Shield) at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain with a 2:1 win over Mexico's Pan American Team in the tournament final on May 30. Trinidad & Tobago opened the tournament with a 1:0 victory over Haiti on May 28.
St. Vincent & The Grenadines were beaten by Mexico's Pan American Team on penalties, 8:7, and were defeated by Haiti 3-0. Jean Sony Alcenat scored twice, while Ricardo Pierre-Louis added another for Haiti in the third place match at the Hasely Crawford Stadium over St. Vincent & The Grenadines on May 30.
Haiti and Trinidad & Tobago are in preparation for the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup from 6-24 June in six venues in the USA. So, Mark your calendar!
