A group of well-known Haitian artists have decided to join their efforts and talents together to ameliorate the lives of their fellow artists, while improving the living conditions of the unfortunate helpless environmental victims of Haiti.

Haitian artists for many decades have been abused, exploited and neglected. Most of them sadly end up poor and discouraged while promoters, producers and many others live off the abundant amount of which they have ruthlessly embezzled from the artists' hard work and success. Many other artists are left lonely, neglected, disappointed, and homeless turning sometimes to drugs and alcohol to suppress their anger. As a result, they end up on the streets living in inhumane conditions or abandoning their families and even their hometowns.

This reoccuring issue have motivated many talented artists and famous musicians such as, Leon Dimanche, Eddy François, Joseph D. Larose, Dadou Pasquet, Ronide Cayo to produce a superb song that promotes a very powerful message of Unity, Respect, Peace, Love and Harmony. These artists believe that music is a potent medication that cures frustration, anger and fear. It has the ability to touch the souls of even the heartless, while putting them in a calm state of mind.

Kids still living under tents 2 years after Fonds-Verrettes was flooded in 2004.
The aftermath of the 2004's flood in Fonds-Verrettes where many houses were destroyed.
The gathered Haitian artists envision to model the Cité Des Artistes / Artists Village like "Habitat for Humanity" and build as many homes as possible in order to put a roof over the heads of the staggering number of victims of natural disasters who are still sleeping on rocks. They would like to also provide decent homes to those still living in huts, in order to prevent further devastations in the event of other floods and hurricanes.

Every village will be equipped with a medical clinic, a grade school, one or two churches, a trade school, a cultural and sport center. A shopping center will intentionally take place to encourage the villagers to sell their craft works, and various local products. The shopping center will enable the recipients to be financially independent.

The proceeds of the sale of these CDs will be used to build a series of two (2) bedroom homes in the poorest regions of Haiti, concentrating around the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. These homes will house the homeless while encouraging reforestation. In addition, an agricultural program will be part of this project whereby planting many fruit and vegetable trees around these homes, insuring that people are well equipped in case the need for survival food arise.

Each complex built will be named "Cité Des Artistes / Artists Village." At the entrance of every village will stand a wall, on which the names of all artists (musicians, painters, TV/radio host, photographers, actors, dancers etc…) who have participated in the realization of the village will be engraved. Moreover, all private individuals, organizations and/or businesses which intend to help us make this dream become a reality will be honored.
